This is part of an exciting, experimental series of embroidered photographs I created as part of my MFA program. The image is one I took in the hills outside of Ashland, Oregon while we were exploring and suddenly got snowed on. I edited and printed the photo, cut out elements and stitched french knots to represent snow.
